Many of the staff in this team work hard behind the scenes to ensure our school is running like a fine tuned machine. They organise everything from communication with parents, our sickbay, stocking the coffee machine, resourcing, library, rubbish, accounts and school grounds. Shannon, Sandra and Sue as well as our Board of Trustees are the key decision makers. They frequently bounce ideas off the staff to ensure our school is up to date with educational ideas and technology as well as ensure the safety and well being of our students and staff. |

Our teachers are sporty and passionate people. The Technology Team The aim of technology teaching and learning is for students to develop technological literacy. Students will develop a broad understanding of how and why things work and also understand how products and systems are developed. They will learn to critically evaluate technological developments and trends in addition to evaluating their own products created in class. All students will attend Technology in their Specialist timetable during the year. Year 7 students will have experience in Foods, Soft Materials, Mechatronics, Control Technology and Product Design Technology rooms. Students plan their investigation and design practical solutions to address a need or opportunity to address the brief they choose. Year 8 students: In this year level students will attend the same areas and continue to develop their knowledge and understanding of the subject while they build their skills from Year 7. Extra extension classes are offered on Day Talent to allow many more opportunities in these rooms for all students to have ‘hands on’ learning with a wide range of technologies. The International Team The International team work out of the International house located next to our school. The house is a comforting environment for our international students to participate in additional English classes (ELIP), have personalised help with school related things, as well as first language communication with Jung Hee Kwon who speaks Mandarin, Japanese and Korean. Our enrolment and administration team as well as trained teachers work here. The International house is also the location of our after-school care programme |
