Our enrolment officer will email you to request the required documentation. Upon receipt of the documentation, the appropriate Dean will contact you to arrange an interview with you and your child.

Students who live in the Murrays Bay Intermediate School zone may enrol at the school as of right, provided:
They are entitled to a state education
They live in-zone as their main residence, with a parent or legal guardian
DATES OF IMPORTANCE:
TRANSITION INTERVIEWS
Tuesday, 10 November, from 3.45 pm to 8.00 pm.
Wednesday, 11 November from 3.45 pm to 8.00 pm.
All confirmed students and their families are required to attend the Transition Interviews. Further information on booking your Transition Interview will be communicated to you directly.
The following information/proof must be presented in person during the Transition Interviews in November.
A copy of the student’s:
NZ birth certificate or NZ passport (if NZ citizen)
Australian passport (if Australian citizen) or
If the student is NOT an NZ citizen:
NZ residency permit or NZ student visa/ permit
Parental NZ work permit, and
Student’s passport
IN-ZONE applicants: Proof of address displaying parent/guardian's names - not older than 3 months:
Utilities bill (power, phone bill or internet)
Rental Agreement, if applicable.
The following will NOT be accepted: Rates Notices, Watercare bills, Insurance letters or bank letters as proof of your in-zone address.
A copy of any Court Order Documents (if applicable)
Purpose of interviews:
To check the enrolment information is correct for your child.
To provide an initial personal connection between new families and Murrays Bay Intermediate.
To inform parents about setting up their HERO account.
To gather important class placement information. We do not guarantee friendship placements, teacher requests, or classroom preferences.

Uniform sales bookings will open towards the end of October 2026, and a link will be sent to all confirmed students via Hero.
